Welcome to Lexicon Design:

Thankyou for visiting Lexicon Design, a collection of my work and play.

I am currently working as a freelance Flash and Actionscript developer living in Staffordshire but working all over the UK.

My skills include (but are not limtited to) Flash and Actionscript (v.1 and v.2 [oop classes]), (D)HTML, PHP, mySQL, XML, XSLT, javaScript and Photoshop.

I specialise in developing complex Flash based applications (e-learning, dynamic web utilities etc.) and that is what most of my work is now based around.

My roots are in web-design and development so I can also provide web sites ranging from small, informative sites to larger database driven sites with e-commerce and content management solutions.

Lexicon Design UK Ltd. is now a registered Limited Company as of January 2005. I've had a fantastic year so far with lots of interesting freelance work, such as developing ActionScript for a large scale e-learning project for the MOD.

Although I tend to be busy most of the time now, you can still find all sorts of Flash and ActionScript experiments in the portfolio section. I've started adding a bit more source code too, gearing up for some tutorials I'll eventually write for the long overdue resources section.

I realise there is much updating still to do to the site but that will just have to wait. My spare time is limited and I have to get moving on a cool (but un-payed) e-learning project for kids I am developing with a couple of designers I made friends with this year.
